Frequently Asked Questions
-
This remote is exclusively compatible with CITY 2 PLUS models manufactured in June 2025 or newer. You can check your chair's manufacture date on the serial number sticker located on the frame. If your chair was built before this date, the electronics will not support this Bluetooth remote.
-
Yes! Unlike many other models, this specific remote features a "remote wake-up" function. As long as you are within the 10-meter Bluetooth range, you can power the chair on directly from the remote, making it incredibly convenient for caregivers to prep the chair for use.
-
The remote has a reliable operating range of up to 10 meters (approximately 33 feet). This allows caregivers plenty of room to maneuver the chair into position, load it onto a ramp, or guide it through tight spaces while standing at a safe distance.
-
Not at all. While the remote does not come pre-paired, the setup process is a quick and simple Bluetooth handshake between the remote and the chair’s controller. Once paired, the devices will remember each other for all future uses.
-
Absolutely. The remote gives the caregiver full control over the chair's speed settings. This ensures you can set a pace that is comfortable for the environment, whether you are navigating a crowded indoor space or a wide-open outdoor path.
