What carbon fiber actually changes

Carbon fiber is very stiff for its weight, so the frame can be slim and still feel solid under you. Three things you notice day to day: it is quieter than aluminium on hard floors, it does not flex when you lean on the handles, and the wheels are puncture proof so there is nothing to pump up. The brake cables run inside the frame, so there is no loop of cable to catch on a door handle.

Is the Carbon Ultralight right for you?

Best for: anyone who lifts their rollator often. If you travel, take transit, or load the car every day, this is the one.

The Wide frame is 10.8 lb. Carbon saves you about 4 lb against a good aluminium rollator, and more than 8 lb against a large-wheel one, and you pay for that. If you rarely lift your walker, a heavier aluminium frame will serve you just as well for less money.
