byACRE Carbon Overland
The all terrain byACRE. Big air filled tires that keep rolling over grass, gravel and broken pavement, on a carbon fibre frame.
What you actually lift
14.8 lb, and here is what that feels like.
Weight decides whether the walker comes with you or stays by the door. Every figure here is the manufacturer's published weight for a rollator we actually stock.
- 10.6 lbbyACRE Carbon Ultralight
- 14.8 lbDrive AeroWalk Ultra-Lite, aluminiumSame weight
- 19 lbDrive Nitro Sprint, aluminium
The Drive AeroWalk Ultra-Lite is aluminium, weighs the same 14.8 lb and carries the same 330 lb. The Overland puts a carbon fibre frame and far bigger tires underneath that same figure.
Where it will take you
Air filled tires, 10.2 in across.
A small hard wheel stops at the edge of a crack. A tire this size rides over it, and the air soaks up the jolt before it reaches your wrists. That is the whole idea of the Overland, and it is why it does not feel like an indoor rollator taken outside.
- ✓Cracked pavement, cobbles and curb lipsThe tire bridges the gap instead of dropping into it
- ✓Gravel paths, grass and packed dirtPneumatic rubber tires on inner tubes, made for ground that is not a smooth floor
- ✓And indoors, comfortably26.6 in overall, so it goes through a standard Canadian interior door, and folds to 11.0 in wide to put away

One wheel, 10.2 in across. Rubber tires on inner tubes, the same idea as a bicycle wheel, which is what lets the air do the cushioning.
Will it fit you
Will the handles reach you?
Stand tall with your arms loose at your sides. The grips should come up level with the crease of your wrist. Set too low you will stoop, set too high your shoulders will ache. The Overland adjusts through a wide band, so this chart is simply to confirm the handles reach you.
The day it arrives
It arrives ready to roll.
byACRE ships the Carbon Overland assembled. Their own words for it are “comes fully assembled and ready to explore”, and for getting going, “unwrap, unfold, adjust height and start rolling”.
- ✓Fully assembled by byACRENothing to build and nothing to bolt on
- ✓One carton, 10.2 by 33.7 by 32.1 in20.9 lb all in, and it is one box, not several
- ✓Unwrap, unfold, and you are rollingThe first thing you do with it is use it

Out of the carton and onto the path. There is no assembly step between the two.

Built for this frame
Accessories made for the Carbon Overland.
byACRE builds its accessories per frame, so the six below are the ones confirmed for a Carbon Overland.
Already beside the price. The Carbon Overland Backrest has its own card up in the buy box, so it is not repeated down here.
Three more to know about. The Cane Holder comes in a left hand and a right hand version. The Touch Up Pen is matched to your colour for the odd scuff. The Pocket Bag fits the Carbon Overland and the Wide Ultralight frame, and nothing else in the range.
Compatibility taken from byACRE's own Accessory Size Scheme for the Carbon Series.
