The Drive AeroWalk Ultra-Lite is aluminium, carries the same 330 lb and weighs 3.3 lb more. Carbon fibre is what buys back those pounds, and it is the reason this frame costs what it does.
How it is built
There are no welds anywhere in this frame.
A welded joint is where a metal frame usually gives out first. Drive's own description of this one is that it "reduces common fracture points with a weld-free frame", and fewer joints also means fewer parts to replace over the years you own it.

Stand tall with your arms loose at your sides. The grips should come up level with the crease of your wrist. Set too low you will stoop, set too high your shoulders will ache. This frame adjusts through almost 6 in, one of the widest bands we carry, so the chart is simply to confirm the handles reach you.

The seat sits at 23 in, and that is the point.
Standing up is harder than sitting down, and the lower the seat the harder it gets. This one is 23 in off the floor, which keeps your knees under you and your weight forward when you push back up.

Yes. The AeroCarbon is rated to 330 lb, which is higher than most ultralight rollators and higher than the 300 lb Drive Nitro Elite CF. Carbon fiber is stiff for its weight, and the frame is weld free, so there are fewer joints to work loose over time.

Handles adjust from 31.7 in to 37.6 in, which is a wide range and reaches higher than most rollators. To check your own fit, stand in your usual shoes with your arms hanging relaxed and measure floor to the crease of your wrist. That measurement should fall inside the range.

The brake cables run inside the frame rather than looping outside it, so nothing can snag on a doorway, a chair or your coat. The brakes work the usual way: squeeze the levers up toward the handles to slow down, and push them down until they click to lock the wheels before you sit on the seat.

The AeroCarbon is 3.5 lb lighter at 11.5 lb, carries 30 lb more at 330 lb, and has a seat 2.25 in higher at 23 in, which most people find easier to stand up from. The Nitro Elite CF has slightly larger 10 in front wheels and includes a cane holder.
