Quick Answer
Golden Cricket GP302 Carbon-Fibre Folding Power Wheelchair
The Golden Cricket GP302 combines a carbon-fibre frame with one-step folding and upright storage. Golden lists a 300 lb maximum payload, a 39.3 lb assembled weight and a reduced 33.2 lb weight only when the battery, joystick, cushion and bag are excluded.
Range, turning and width
Golden's published range for the 12Ah 24V battery converts to up to 15 km, tested at a 200 lb load. Actual range varies with rider weight, surface, slope, temperature and battery condition. The chair has a 22 in turning radius and measures 22.4 in wide.
Air travel and safe use
Golden labels the removable battery airline-friendly, but the airline makes the final acceptance decision. The owner manual recommends a maximum incline of 6°. Before getting on or off, make sure both freewheel levers are in DRIVE. Never sit in the chair in freewheel mode on an incline or decline, and avoid rain, snow, mist and slippery ground.
