Travel Buggy DASH 2 and DASH 3 battery, 24V 10Ah lithium ion
This is Travel Buggy's own 24V 10Ah lithium ion battery for the DASH power chair. Every DASH comes with one battery, and a second one lets you swap and keep going when the first runs low. Travel Buggy rates it for up to 1,000 charges. The charger is sold separately.
Which version do you need?
Travel Buggy makes this battery in two versions, and the right one depends on your chair's serial number.
- Version 01: serial numbers 20220329-01 to 20231216-606, and 11010301 onwards.
- Version 02: serial numbers 20240520-01 to 202501100, and 11010001 to 11010300.
If you are not sure which one you have, call us at 888-386-6233 with your chair's serial number and we will confirm it before your order ships.
Flying with it
At 24V and 10Ah the battery is 240 Wh. Travel Buggy lists the DASH 3 as approved for air and cruise travel, but each airline sets its own rules for lithium batteries, so check with your carrier before you fly.

Generally, if you purchased your DASH chair in 2023 or later, it is likely a Gen II model requiring the V2 battery. If you are unsure, please check your serial number or look for the 'Gen II' branding on your chair's frame.
