The Robooter X40 is an automatic-folding power chair for indoor floors, pavement and other firm maintained surfaces. It carries a 120 kg (264 lb) maximum user weight, and Robooter publish up to 25 km of range and a top speed of 6 km/h.
The chair folds automatically from its documented chair controls. Although some current web pages advertise app control, the exact owner manual says mobile-app driving is unsupported and warns against it. Care Made therefore does not promise or support app-based remote driving. Plan vehicle loading around a ramp, lift or suitable assistance rather than assuming it is a hand-lift chair, because the X40 weighs about 92 lb (41.8 kg).
The manual positions the X40 for firm maintained surfaces and says it is unsuitable for gravel, grass, sand, mud, snow or frozen paths. Routine slopes should be 6° or less, and the chair must never be used above 10°. Avoid heavy rain and wet or slippery surfaces.
Robooter's own specification table gives the X40 a 76 cm (29.9 in) minimum turning radius. That is a genuinely wide turn for a chair sold for indoor use, so it wants an open hallway rather than a tight one. For comparison, Robooter publish 45 cm (17.7 in) for the Robooter E40, which turns far tighter in the same space. Measure your narrowest doorway and the clear floor beyond it before ordering.
Unfolded, the X40 is 100.5 x 59 x 93 cm, which is 39.6 in long, 23.2 in wide and 36.6 in tall. The 23.2 in outside width is the figure your doorways care about. Folded it is 82 x 59 x 37 cm, or 32.3 x 23.2 x 14.6 in.
The standard configuration uses a 20Ah battery; an optional 10Ah travel battery may be available. Confirm the exact battery, transport weight and folded dimensions for the Canadian unit with Care Made, and obtain airline acceptance before travel.

Plan the turn, not just the doorway
