The joystick has five speed settings and can be fitted on either side. An integrated rear-handle attendant control lets a companion drive forwards or backwards at a walking pace. A removable breathable seat cushion and a footrest with three height settings help make everyday seating and transfers practical.

A simple transport routine

Fold the chair upright for storage and remove its battery for charging away from the chair. The Navigator weighs 27 lb without the battery and 31 lb with it, excluding optional accessories. Its 23.2 in (59 cm) outside width and 18 in seat width give you useful starting measurements for doorway and seating fit. Transfer to a vehicle seat before car travel.

Car and airline travel

Removable, airline-friendly battery; check with your airline. Measure your vehicle opening against the folded size, remove the battery before lifting and transfer to a vehicle seat before driving. This chair must not be occupied in a moving vehicle.

Use the right route

Use indoors and on smooth, firm, level outdoor routes. The Navigator is not an all-terrain chair. Stay within the 6-degree incline limit.
